You'll find The Royal Oak at the heart of the pretty village of Bigbury, with the fine sandy beaches of Bantham and Bigbury-on-Sea at your doorstep and the rolling hills of the South Hams unfolding round about. Our menus highlight scrumptious English dishes for Lunch and Dinner alongside well kept beers, fine wines and a warm country welcome.

After a busy day at the beach, walking the dogs or on the golf course why not relax in our cosy Bar or Restaurant or on sunnier days the spacious Garden before heading home.

If one day isn’t enough for your visit then we have newly refurbished en-suite bedrooms with all the quality that you would expect from a small first class hotel!.... so come in for a drink, a meal and a chat in this very friendly, family run, inn.

Restaurant opening Hours from 1st November. The restaurant will be closed Sunday Evening and Monday. Please note that our Early Doors menu will still be available Monday to Friday. Food served for Lunch from 12 noon until 2.00pm and Dinner from 6.30pm until 8.30pm. Sunday Lunch from 12 noon until 2.30pm.
